RECON’s HDD™ Production Logging service leads the industry with the smallest foot print for horizontal well deployment (1 3/8” OD—25 ft length). This platform can be deployed in memory mode on slickline or coiled tubing, as well as in SRO mode on E-Line, E-Coil and Tractor.

In vertical and horizontal environments RECON’s HDD™ Production Logging platform can measure and image the flowing holdup and entry across the perforated intervals. The platform is ideal to pinpoint water breakthrough regions and measure the performance of the lateral section.

The versatility of RECON’s HDD™ Production Logging platform enables low deployment costs. The HDD™ Production Logging platform employs three Fluid ID sensors (Capacitance, Density, Density Holdup), Pressure, Fast response Temperature and Array sensors.

In coal bed methane applications, RECON’s HDD™ can resolve individual gas contributions down to 0.05e3m3 (1.76mcf/d) or less based on flowing interval at 14 psi. The resolution of this HDD™ Production Logging service can actually be used to measure gas inflow through standing columns of water and measure individual perforation tunnel velocities.

The theory of production logging is based on holdup & velocity. Since RECON is the only PLT logging group that can directly measure a fullbore cross sectional gas/liquid holdup, backed up by two additional fluid ID sensors (Density and Capacitance), it’s a mathematical certainty RECON will deliver the highest confidence measurements and production analysis in the industry.

RECONs in-house, production logging analysis utilizes an industry standard Production Logging analysis package, which, in conjunction with High Definition Production measurements, can accurately allocate inflows across the complex completed producing vertical & lateral sections. RECONs final deliverable results are considered to be unbiased to Frac GR scanned data.
